This was a great hotel, perfect spot for walking to everything. Didn't eat in the restaurant so cannot comment on food, but we did have drinks and breakfast which where both great and great choices. Our rooms where spotless everyday and the reception couldn't do anything but help you!! Highly recommend. You can also book car hire here so one less thing to think about!

Due to a delay with my flight - I was a guest at the Kydon - I felt so well looked after from the moment I arrived at reception - Such a warm welcome - my stay included an evening meal, which was simply outstanding. The room a good size with all the standard amenities; but the standout was how luxurious the bedding was - smooth crisp sheets, light fluffy duvet and mattress so comfortable.

The hotel is perfectly located for walking access to all that Chania has to offer. The food service is top tier from the perfectly cooked eggs at breakfast to the al dente pasta dishes. The hotel staff were a real treat they were professional and extremely attentive. Morning always started with a smile from Eri, Zoi, and Elena. Katerina and Despina were always ready for any and all needs. Nikos and Marios are artists with the cars. I never had to wait or worry about my car. Last but not least Rena, she made this trip so much more than I ever could have desired by expertly guiding us to sights we never would have known to see, keeping our bellies full with all manor of local cuisine, ensuring that we wanted for nothing and being an all around delightful person. Kydon and the staff have my highest recommendation for a stay and will be where I stay on subsquent visits.

We stayed at the Hotel Kydos as a family of five and it really was one of the most beautiful hospitality experiences we have lived! The location could not be better - right in the heart of Chania, with everything at a breeze. The staff is simply perfect: courteous, friendly, always with a real smile and willing to help with anything we needed. Our room was clean, comfortable and with a wonderful view that made us every morning to start the day with joy. A big thanks for the touching surprise with the birthday candy! I didn’t expect it and it was such a beautiful gesture that made my day really special.
